Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Culinario ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Culinario is an educational application that teaches cooking fundamentals through structured lessons, interactive practice drills, and hands-on kitchen challenges with real cooking timers. It uses gamified elements — XP, streaks, weekly leagues, and achievements — to help you build cooking skills and intuition over time. It is intended as a learning and self-improvement tool.

Subscription & Billing

Culinario is offered on a subscription basis, with a free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account through Apple's In-App Purchase system; Culinario does not process or store your payment details.

Subscriptions automatically renew for the same length and price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
If you don't cancel before your free trial ends, your subscription begins automatically and payment is charged.
Current pricing, trial length, and available plans are shown in the App before you subscribe, and may vary by offer or promotion.
You can manage or cancel your subscription any time from your Apple Account settings, or from the "Manage Subscription" option in the App's Profile tab.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's refund policies — Culinario does not issue refunds directly.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App for its intended educational purpose.
You are responsible for cooking safely and following sound food-handling practices when applying what you learn.
You must be at least 13 years old to use this App, or have parental consent.
You are responsible for maintaining a safe environment when working with heat, sharp tools, and hot surfaces in your own kitchen.

Cooking & Safety Disclaimer

Culinario provides general culinary education and is not a substitute for professional culinary training or food-safety guidance. Always follow proper food-safety and kitchen-safety practices, be mindful of allergies and dietary restrictions, and use your own judgment when preparing food.

Your Content & Progress

Your learning progress and preferences are stored on your device and in your private iCloud account. You are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple Account. We are not responsible for progress lost due to device issues, iCloud availability, or deletion of the App.

Intellectual Property

All content, lessons, features, and functionality of the App are owned by Culinario and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its educational content will be suitable for every individual or situation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Culinario shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to injury in the kitchen, food-related issues, or data loss.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
